Terms of Use
Updated: 2 August 2026
By creating an AmoryMe account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
Who may use the service
Adults only — 18 and over. By registering you confirm your age. One person, one account; the number of accounts from a single device is limited. An account may not be transferred to another person.
What is prohibited
Impersonating another person or using someone else’s photos.
Posting material involving minors in any form.
Insulting, harassing, threatening, or inciting hatred.
Posting intimate images of other people without their consent.
Sharing other people’s personal data — addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, screenshots of conversations with identifiable people.
Using the service for commercial offers, advertising, or any form of paid services.
Sending identical messages to many people, mass-inviting people to meetings, deceiving or extorting.
Attempting to circumvent blocks, limits, or the protections of the service.
Your content
Everything you post remains yours. You grant us a limited right to store and display that material inside the service — solely so that the app can function. We do not use your photos in advertising and do not pass them to third parties for their own purposes.
You are responsible for what you post and confirm that you have the right to post it.
Moderation and blocking
Published photos and text are checked automatically. Reports are reviewed by a moderator. A profile reported under the “Danger” category is temporarily hidden pending review — this protects other users and is not an accusation. The person who filed the report continues to see that profile and their conversation: evidence must not disappear along with the offender.
An account may be blocked without warning for breaking the rules. Moderator actions are recorded in an internal log. If you believe a block is a mistake, write to us.
The anonymous section
In the “Gossip” section posts are anonymous: the author is not visible to anyone, moderators included — only a random icon is shown. Posts live for 72 hours and then disappear.
Anonymity does not suspend the rules. Naming other people by their nickname, posting their photos, or posting any detail by which a person can be identified is prohibited. Text and images are checked automatically, every post can be reported, and violations lead to account blocking — the anonymity of a post does not prevent us from identifying its author when investigating a report.
Meetings and personal safety
We do not verify users’ identities — verification only confirms that the person in the photos is real; it does not vouch for their good faith. You arrange meetings at your own risk.
Events in the app are open to everyone who can see them: when you specify a place, remember that strangers will learn it. Choose public places.
Please use the “Safety” section: it lets you record a meeting plan and check in that you are fine. Arrange a first meeting in a public place and tell someone close to you where you are going.
Payment
All features are currently free. If paid features appear, payment will go through the App Store and refund rules will be determined by Apple.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we are not responsible for the behaviour of other users or for what happens outside the app.
